WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.
Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.
Recycle Points
The item upgrade r lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.
The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader each several weeks.
The cost of upgrades will be based on the current item level of the item being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will cost 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from item upgrader s NPCs for a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using the help of button, which will show an image of the item at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.
The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance.
