Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to develop certain Pokemon. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in weapons, armor trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and gathering tools in order to add attribute bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Certain upgrade items come with special visual effects that appear when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards in games.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements can be utilized on certain back equipment that is ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and replaced.
Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item, and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia will change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and view these special characters as well as common symbols like em and en dashes as well in registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a window with the Glyphs that are available to you. Make sure you select the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item and each weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have a different set of available Glyphs.
You can level up Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated bonus, and also increase the number of nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some sets, like the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own right and don't need upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
