The item upgrade system allows players to improve the performance of trinkets, armors, and weapons. It also offers some unique effects and special effects.

Growthstones
These items are much like the berries in that they boost your attributes permanently but unlike berries, they boost all your attributes, excluding HP. You can obtain Growth Stones through completing certain events in the game, or by joining two of them into the Nitro Cube. You can also get them as a reward during the Ancient Arena Season.

Growth Materials are available in a variety of kinds and can be used to achieve various goals. The stats of a majority of items increase linearly when they are upgraded. However, the final stats of a held item can be more than twice the value it was when it is maxed. However, by the time it reaches level 20, its stats are +15 attack and +7.5 percent attack speed.
